Educational-methodical department is a structure managing the educational process, the purpose of which is the realization of tasks defined in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and “State Educational Standard”, and acts on this basis.

Educational-methodical department – the university has the authority to improve the educational process on the basis of the achievements of advanced science, to provide basic educational documents, to generalize the advanced achievements of faculties and departments in educational work.

The Teaching and Methodological Department pays great attention to the inclusion of all necessary subjects in the educational process so that students grow into mature, qualified specialists at the level of modern requirements.

Master's degree

The tasks of the Educational and Methodological Department are defined as follows:

  • Improvement of the university education process on the basis of advanced scientific achievements, providing the university structures with state educational standards and basic educational documents;
  • Planning and organization of the educational process at the university;
  • Coordination of educational, educational and methodical work of faculties and departments of the university;
    Continuous improvement of normative and methodological documents in the management of the educational process;
  • Development of perspective plans for the development of university education and presentation of recommendations to the Academic Council of the University;
  • Generalization of advanced achievements of faculties, departments and structures of the university in educational work and their application in the educational process of the institute;
  • Introduction of a new REGULATION on the rating system of control and evaluation of students’ knowledge;
    Formation of a plan for professional development of the teaching staff;
  • Analyzing student attendance;
  • Ensuring the observance of academic discipline by university teachers and students;
  • Organization and analysis of current, intermediate and final control at all faculties and graduate schools of the University;
  • Ensuring the maintenance of basic working documentation at the departments and dean offices;
  • Preparation of documents for drawing up the staff schedule of the university, control over the fulfillment of teaching load;
  • Register documents of substitute and part-time teachers, organize and coordinate the distribution of the fund of part-time classes;
  • Study the activities of faculties and departments of the university on educational issues;
  • Organization of selection of professors and teachers;
  • Introduction of advanced foreign experience in the educational process;
  • Organization of practices and provision of methodological aids;
  • Coordination of the academic lyceum’s activity in the educational and methodical aspect;
  • The head of the educational-methodical department, supervisor, statistician, methodologist, dispatchers work.

Bachelor’s degree

A bachelor’s degree is a basic higher education degree that provides fundamental and practical knowledge in a field of study and lasts at least four years.

Upon completion of the bachelor’s program, graduates are awarded a “bachelor’s degree” in their field based on the results of state certification and are awarded a state-approved diploma entitling them to engage in professional activities.

General qualification requirements for bachelor’s degree

Bachelor::

  • have a systematic knowledge of the worldview, the basics of the humanities and socio-economic sciences, knowledge of current issues of current public policy, be able to independently analyze social problems and processes;
  • Knowledge of the history of the homeland, the ability to express and scientifically substantiate their views on issues of spiritual, national and universal values, to have an active outlook on life based on the idea of ​​national independence;
  • have a holistic view of the processes and events taking place in nature and society, acquire knowledge about the development of nature and society and be able to use them in life and in their professional activities on a modern scientific basis;
  • know the legal and moral criteria that determine a person’s attitude to another person, society, the environment, be able to take them into account in professional activities;
  • be able to collect, store, process and use information, be able to make independent decisions in their professional activities;
    have competitive general professional training in the relevant bachelor’s degree;
  • be able to independently acquire new knowledge, work on themselves and organize work on a scientific basis;
  • have a scientific understanding and belief in a healthy lifestyle and the need to follow it, and have the skills and abilities to exercise.

Bachelor:

  • to work independently in positions to be filled by persons with higher education in the field of education;
  • to continue higher education in the master’s degree in the specialty chosen in the relevant bachelor’s degree;
  • for additional vocational training in the system of retraining and advanced training.

Master’s degree

A master’s degree is a higher education degree that provides fundamental and practical knowledge in a specific field and lasts at least two years.

The state qualification certification, which gives the degree of “Master”, is the culmination of the master’s program. Masters are awarded a state-approved diploma entitling them to engage in professional activities.

General qualification requirements for master’s degree

Master:

  • have professional training aimed at conducting research in the chosen specialty, as well as the implementation of modern achievements in science, engineering and technology, pedagogy, economics, culture and art;
  • be able to express and solve tasks related to scientific problems of the specialty, make decisions, create the necessary knowledge base and use it in their professional activities;
  • know the methodology of research and labor organization, develop and implement methods of analysis and processing of research results, be able to express and provide practical recommendations for the use of research results in relevant areas of activity;
  • have mastered the methods of automation and computer modeling of professional tasks, rational ways to find the most optimal solutions;
  • be able to organize production and management of scientific communities on a scientific basis in a market economy;
  • have mastered pedagogical technologies and interactive teaching methods using modern information systems.

Master:

  • independent research, scientific-pedagogical and professional management activities in the chosen specialty;
  • postgraduate study in the specialty in accordance with the master’s degree;
  • training for additional vocational training in the system of retraining and advanced training.
