Every year on the first day of spring, the birthday of Zulfiya Israilova, an outstanding statesman and public figure, singer of loyalty and devotion, People’s Poetess of Uzbekistan, is widely celebrated. The teaching staff and students of the faculty of Uzbek language and literature of the institute in connection with the 109th anniversary of Zulfiyahonim’s birth held a scientific-practical seminar dedicated to the poetess’ creativity.
It talked about the artistic and linguistic features of Zulfiya’s poetry, which have not yet been explored in literary studies and linguistics. During the event, samples of the poetess’ poems were performed.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
