Every year February 9, the birthday of our grandfather Mir Alisher Navoi, becomes a unique tradition at NavSU. In this regard, this year’s “Navoi Khanate Evenings”, which are held in all faculties and student dormitories of our university, become a unique educational lesson for students and youth. One such event, “Navoi Khanate Evening”, was organized by the Physics and Engineering Faculty team at the 3rd TJ, where young people performed poems and ghazals of our grandfather. “Our President’s declaration of 2025 as the “Year of Alisher Navoi” in Navoi province has a very great meaning and content. Within the framework of this year, a republican contest for a presidential award on the theme “Understanding Hazrat Navoi – understanding our identity” will be organized. “Navoi Khanate Evenings” are held in every district, school, university, labor collective.
Every day the number of our young people who read the works of our grandfather Alisher Navoi with deep attention is growing. There is no need to explain that invaluable teachings of the great poet play a very important role in shaping such noble qualities as high spirituality, patriotism and tolerance in the younger generation. Thanks to these unique works, we have a deeper understanding of the essence of such noble qualities as kindness, love, friendship, justice and peace. The great poet served the people all his life and promoted noble ideas in all his works. All of us at school have gained a lot of knowledge about biography, life and unique creativity of our grandfather Mir Alisher Navoi. Now we need to live every day enjoying this priceless spiritual treasure…” – said L. Zoirova, faculty mentor teacher, at the event.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
