On December 1, Navoi State Pedagogical Institute hosted an event for students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology on the theme “WE ARE AGAINST AIDS” on the occasion of December 1, International AIDS Day. The event was organized in collaboration with the Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs Shamsiyev M, a teacher of the Department of National Ideology Egamberdiyeva and the Center for AIDS. It is no secret that coronavirus infection is included in the category of the most dangerous diseases of 2020. However, there are also diseases that have a negative impact on the nation’s gene pool. Every year, December 1 is traditionally celebrated as World AIDS Day. The purpose of this date is to draw public attention to the issues of supporting people living with AIDS, raising awareness about the symptoms and prevention of the disease. There was a talk about the preventive measures taken in our country against the spread of HIV. Moreover specialists mentioned that the importance of improving medical culture to prevent any infectious and other diseases, we should protect our health because it is in our own hands.
