On October 17 of the current year, the Faculty of Physical Culture of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute organized a promotional event on the theme “Uzbek language is the pride of the nation” in connection with the day of granting the Uzbek language the status of a national language. Lectures were delivered by K. Bozorov, E. Boymonov, lecturers of the Uzbek Language and Literature faculty, N. Umarov, deputy dean of the Physical Education faculty and head of the department, S. Khaidarov, and teachers of the faculty.
The specialists gave relevant information and instructions to the intellectuals who have shown dedication in giving the Uzbek language the status of the state language, the reforms being carried out today to further enhance the prestige of our state language, increase the respect of students for the Uzbek language in all directions.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
