The finals of the Universiade-2024 handball finals among students (girls) of higher educational institutions have started in Navoi Oblast. In this major sporting event, which will be held from December 11 to 15, 182 athletes from all regions of our republic will compete for victory.
The opening ceremony of the competition was held at the Kimyogar stadium in Navoi. The event was attended by deputy governor of the region J. Khodjaev, rector of Navoi State University M. Kalonov, head of the regional department of the ministry F. Tokhtaev, head of the sports department J. Murtozaev, who wished the participants good luck and success. They handed souvenirs to the coaches of the team. They donated their own. Such sports competitions not only promote rivalry between athletes, but also strengthen friendship, solidarity and unity among students.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
