Navoi State University hosted a conference dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14 – the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, on the theme “The new army of Uzbekistan – the backbone of the country, the strength and power of the people”. the pride of our people!”. The festive event was held under the slogan “The pride of my Motherland is a handsome man”.
The event, organized by the university’s women’s council, department of spirituality and education, youth council and trade union committee, was attended by young people, teachers, servicemen and veterans. At the event, which began with the singing of the national anthem, the rector of the university, Professor Mukhiddin Kalonov, conveyed sincere greetings and congratulated everyone on the holiday. Chairman of the Navoi Regional Council of Veterans and Honored Figures M. Uralov and others also spoke, expressing their views on the honor of defending the Motherland. This was followed by speeches by soldiers of the 20022nd military unit, as well as songs and poems by young students. In the process, a group of dedicated professors, teachers and staff were recognized by the university administration for their services to patriotic education. At the same time, they were also recognized by the Veterans Council.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
