Strengthening interethnic harmony in our society, creating equal rights and opportunities for all citizens, regardless of nationality or religion, is one of the most important priorities of our state policy. At the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev The Action Strategy pays special attention to ensuring interethnic harmony in our country.
In this regard, on April 13, 2022 in the Navoi regional center “Spirituality and Enlightenment” was held a meeting in accordance with the decree PD-number 60, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 28, “On the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026.” a spiritual and educational event on “Strengthening the environment of interethnic harmony and interreligious tolerance in society” was held. The event was attended by students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Russian Language and Literature, Kazakh Language and Literature in their national costumes. The event was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and faculty tutors. Representatives of the Russian National Cultural Center, the Kazakh National Center, the Karakalpak National Center, and the Tatar National Centers performed their melodies and songs to the guests with their national costumes, exhibits and costumes reflecting their traditions and customs.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
