A press tour and a press conference on “Works carried out in Navoi State Pedagogical Institute and plans for the future” were organized. During the press tour, representatives of mass media got acquainted with the conditions created for students, the meaningful organization of their education and leisure, the work carried out on comprehensive support of students and youth.
In particular, the activities of the information and resource center, sports grounds, student dormitories, educational laboratory facilities were checked, students, professors and teachers were interviewed.
Also the guests got acquainted with the council room of the youth union, talked to the coordinators of the faculty and students of the group “Kalkon”, received information about the exhibition organized in the art gallery. A tour of the museum of victims of repressions was organized, information was given about the exhibits of the museum, archival documents related to the period of repressions and our ancestors.
After the tour, a press conference was held.
At this press conference, the rector of the institute, Prof. Bakhodir Sobirov gave detailed information about the work, achievements and further plans of the university in the spheres of education and upbringing, spiritual and educational, sports, scientific and financial activities. At the same time, opinions and proposals on further development of cooperation of the university with journalists and bloggers were heard at the event.
The media representatives were also thanked for cooperation with Navoi State Pedagogical Institute.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
