DEPARTMENT OF METHODS OF TEACHING PHYSICS AND ASTRONOMY

Department today:

 In the current period of developing direct relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the world community, the younger generation, including students of higher education institutions, who are the successors of our great future, to develop knowledge, skills and abilities in mathematics, increase their cognitive activity. The task is to improve the skills of teachers on the basis of advanced, modern pedagogical technologies.

The department of “Methods of teaching physics and astronomy” was founded in 1986 on the basis of the department of “Physics, UTF and Labor”. A.A Akhmedov, f.-mfn in 2011-2018 A.M Karimov was in charge. Since 2018, the department is headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor A.A.Axmedov manages.

The department has a total of 28 members, of which 8 are Ph.D., associate professors, 1 PhD, 6 senior lecturers and 13 teachers. Members of the department carry out scientific-methodical work on “Scientific and methodological bases of improving the teaching of physics” on the basis of the “National Program of Personnel Training” in pedagogical universities. The results of scientific and methodological work are reflected in more than 100 articles, theses and more than 6 manuals published in the last three years.

The teacher of our department Bekpolatov UR He defended his dissertation on “Symmetry and Asymmetry (Modern Philosophical Analysis)” and received a PhD. Currently, two teachers of the department, Kamolova Dilnavoz and Sayfullayeva Gulhayolar at the State Unitary Enterprise of Science and Development under the Tashkent State Technical University 01.04.06. (Composition materials) and 02.01.00 “Physics of Polymers”. In order to carry out educational, methodological, research, spiritual, educational and entrepreneurial work at the department at the required level, the following professors and teachers work tirelessly at the department. Associate Professors: A.A Akhmedov, I.R Kamolov , B.F Izbosarov, A.K Qutbedinov, E.N Xudoyberdiyev, A.M Karimov, O.H Atoullayev, K.M Yuldashev, PhD U.R Bekpolatov, senior teachers: E.Kudratov, B.Bisenova, Sh.Tashpolatova, Sh.Ochilov, B. Khushvaqtov, teachers: H.Artikov, I.Toshev, Kanatbayev.S, A.Sattorov, O.Karimova, D.Kholov, G.Sayfullayeva, S.Hamroyeva. Yu.Mavlonova, A.Sh.Khalilov, Turdiyev, T.Soliyev are working. Leading specialists of the department not only contribute to the development of students’ worldview, broadening their horizons, equipping them with secular sciences, but also provide close scientific, methodological and practical assistance to young teachers of the department.

Currently, the department has established close scientific relations with the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, Samarkand State University, Bukhara State University, one of the leading universities of the country. The ranks of the department are growing with young, talented, science-hungry masters. Senior teachers of the department: Abdullayev Jalil Malikovich, teacher: Toshev Ikhtiyor Izzatovich successfully completed a two-month training course. Currently, the teacher Kanatbayev Sagidat is training in March-April. On the basis of the program of cooperation of teachers of the department signed agreements with secondary schools, academic lyceums and vocational colleges of the region and organized seminars, trainings, “Schools of skills”. are coming. Such cooperation will certainly pay off.
