Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, Department of “Inter-faculty foreign languages” was established in 1992. The department has 27 professors. 4 of them are doctors of Philosophy(PhD) in pedagogy and 9 are senior teachers. About 100 educational and methodological manuals were published by professors and teachers at the department. Since January 2021, the department has been headed by G.N.Pirmanova.
H.A.Suyunova successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Methodology for the formation of linguistic skills of students (on the example of 5th-9th grade mother tongue lessons) on the basis of an integrative approach to language education ” in January 2023.
Arzikulova Khurshida Akbaralievna, teacher of French language at our department, on November 28, 2023 10, on 000-04-specialty of the language and literature of the peoples of European America, she successfully defended his dissertation work called “Genre peculiarities of 17th-century French drama” (P.Cornel and J.On the example of the work of Rasin).

The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
