Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, Department of “Technological Education” was established in September 2021. The department has 9 professors-teachers, including 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 1 senior lecturer, 1 acting associate professor, 3 teachers. At the department professors-teachers according to the plan publish textbooks, manuals and teaching aids, articles. Since October 4, 2021 p.f.b.f.d. (PhD) associate professor Sh.B. Achilov has been in the lead. In the academic year 2023-2024 the Master’s degree in specialty 70112301 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Training (Technological Education) is opened.
For the last two years, 10 sewing machines for laboratory and practical classes, 5 overlocks and 4 irons were brought to the students of the Faculty of Technological Education 60112300, subject “Technological educational practice” and “Automated systems of design and modeling of sewing products”. at the expense of the “Islamic Development Bank”. 4 metalworking machines and 5 woodworking machines at the expense of “Islamic Development Bank” on “Metal and Stainless Steel Processing Technology” and “Material Science and Structural Materials”, science “Metal Cutting, Cutting Tools and Machine Tools” machine tools and a number of small tools and equipment were brought. From the subject “Fundamentals of Robotics” brought a new modern assembly “Arduino”. All of these devices are considered modern technology and are effectively used in the classroom. These literatures were transferred to the “Information and Resource Center” of the Institute. 60112300 – Students and teachers of technological education use it in class and extracurricular activities. In 2024 Ataullaev Odil Hasanovich received the diploma of professor in the specialty “Mechanics of fluid and gas”.
At the department is made and on the basis of this plan is realized the plan of research works. Independent researcher of the chair “Technological Education” Sharipov A.A. (PhD), under the guidance of Associate Professor Ochilov Sh.B. 13.00.02 – Theory and methodology of teaching and learning (technology) specialty “Methodology of development of intellectual abilities of students of general education school on the basis of integrative approach” (as an example of science of technology)” conducts scientific research for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in pedagogical sciences. Under the guidance of H.I.Ibragimov 13.00.02 – Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences on the theme “Improvement of the methodology of development of creative abilities of students in technological classes with the use of information technology (by the example of technology)”. research for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences).

Under the guidance of Ochilov 13.00.02 – Pedagogy on the theme “Methodology of teaching the technology of drip irrigation of garden crops to students of secondary schools” (on the example of the science of technology) in the field of theory of education and training and methodology (technology) conducts research for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of natural sciences.
