Exactly 33 years ago in our country on November 18, 1991 at the extraordinary VII session of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Uzbekistan the Law “On the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted. The flag of our country is not only a symbol of our country, but also a vivid expression of our past, present and future, our pride and joy, a sacred symbol that represents the boundless love of our people, strong faith and national-cultural traditions. As long as there is a flag, there is a nation, there is a state, there is a Motherland. Children of our country, no matter where they are, no matter what results they have achieved, raise the flag of Uzbekistan into the sky and honor it. The flag is a symbol of goodness and peace!
Round table on the theme “Our flag is our pride and honor” with the participation of students of the 1st stage of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Navoi State University together with the teacher of the Faculty of History Egamberdiyeva A. organized the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan. More than 130 students participated in the round table. They also expressed their opinions. The flag of our State, created on the basis of historical values and being a symbol of our past, present and future, is a symbol of great national strength, high intelligence and will, which we have instilled with mother’s milk, her lullabies and teachings of our great ancestors … A. Egamberdiyeva, a lecturer at the History Department of NavDU, said.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
