An international scientific-practical conference on the theme “Integration of Turkic languages in the era of globalization” was held in Navoi State Pedagogical Institute jointly with German research institute “INSTITÜT FÜR DIE WELT DER TURKEN”.
The international conference was opened by Gairat Yodgorov, pro-rector for academic work of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute and expressed his opinion on the topic. Specialists from a number of higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Germany took part in the conference. For example, such foreign professors as Nurai Gunesh, Dr. Ilokha Gurbanli, Salida Sharifova, Sevda Rustemova, Zulfiya Guliyeva, Shabnam Guliyeva, Narmin Tarlan Hasanova delivered lectures. The conference was also attended by Professor Yorkinjon Odilov of the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore, as well as scientists and specialists from a number of higher educational institutions of our republic.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
