In Navoi State Pedagogical Institute in connection with the 32nd anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14 – the Day of Defender of the Fatherland organized a cultural and educational event “protection of the Motherland – sacred duty”. It was attended by veteran soldiers, servicemen of Navoi military units, teachers and students.
Initially, the event was organized by the pro-rector for academic work G. Opening the memorial, the participants were presented with a holiday greeting by the rector of the institute B. Sobirov. There were also remarks on the Honor of preserving the homeland by veterans.
After that the event was connected with artistic performances and continued with student songs and dances.
During the process, a group of dedicated faculty and staff members were honored by the management of the institute for their services in patriotic education.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
