The culture of reading ensures that a person has such characteristics as a complete understanding of the source, aesthetic enjoyment of it, understanding of the author’s thoughts and ideas, and the ability to evaluate them. Choosing a book, reading it, storing it carefully, creating a personal library and the ability to recommend the books you read to others is part of the reading culture.
When artists present their work to society, they want people to receive aesthetic pleasure from it. Some people may feel this pleasure, but others may not.
The inability to feel prevents a deep understanding of a person, unconditional understanding. That is why today’s literature must pose new challenges for its readers. One of these tasks is to develop aesthetic taste by reading more books.
On February 23, a week-long tour of the “One Book per Week” project took place with the participation of library staff of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of NavDPI M. Khudzhakulova and G. Latipova.
The event, based on the book “Costly Mistake” by Kamil Sindarov, was organized in the form of questions and answers. The winners were awarded a collection of books. “Without a literary book, it is impossible to imagine the complete achievement of knowledge and enlightenment, the construction of a truly perfect society.
