On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Navoi State University held an event on the theme “Constitution – guarantee of free and prosperous life”. The event was organized jointly with the Department of National Idea, Spirituality and Legal Education of the Faculty of History of NSU, Justice Department of Navoi region, Navoi City Prosecutor’s Office and Navoi City Criminal Court. The event was first opened by Tavakkal Choriev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the university, who spoke about the changes in education and the opportunities provided to young people in the coming years.
During the process, the head of the Justice Department of Navoi province, R.I. Kholmominov, a senior assistant prosecutor of Navoi city, Sh.B., a 3rd level lawyer, and D.A., a judge of Navoi city criminal court, delivered informative reports on the Constitution of Uzbekistan and the legal sphere. The lectures commented on several articles of the new wording of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Also at the event, TJU senior lecturer A.N. Jorayev and student propagandists spoke about the goals and objectives of the “Campaign Train” organized by the Tashkent State Law University. At the same time, an online contest was held among the students of Navoi State University to find out who knows the Constitution; the winners of the contest were determined on the spot and were rewarded with various prizes.
At the end of the event, teachers and students answered questions from law enforcement officials on legal issues of interest to them.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
