Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kholboy Ibragimov visited Navoi State University. First, Academician Kh.Ibragimov met with the rector of the university Prof. M.Kalonov and had a friendly and sincere conversation. During the dialog, information was provided about the newly built campus of the university, as well as educational and methodological, spiritual-educational, scientific-research directions.
Academician Kholboy Ibragimov met with the students of the university. The meeting was attended by the rector of the university Mukhiddin Kalonov, vice-rectors of the departments, deans, heads of departments, teaching staff and students. During the meeting, Academician Kh. Ibragimov told the participants of the event about his scientific and practical activities, hard work and life path of achieving academic level. He also spoke about the attention paid to youth today and the opportunities created in the field of science, and called on students and youth to effectively utilize such opportunities.
Academician H.Ibragimov was awarded with memorable gifts from the University management for selfless contribution to the training of qualified specialists and scientific-pedagogical staff for the field of science in our country, for many years of fruitful work and for cooperation with Navoi State. University. At the end of the meeting the students got answers to their questions. During the visit, Academician Kholboy Ibragimov familiarized himself with the activities of the Memorial Museum of Repression Victims in the structure of the University.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
