The national marathon “Yashil Kelajak” was organized in the “Okkush” complex of Nukus city within the framework of the national project “Yashil Makon”.More than 100 university heads, professors, expert scientists and active students took part in the large-scale environmental event.
Rector of Navoi State University Prof. Mukhiddin Kalonov and university spokesman K. Kholov, as well as a group of student volunteers took part. Chairman of the Jokorg Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbai Orinbayev spoke at the event and expressed gratitude to the participants of the nationwide marathon. After that, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Kongirotboy Sharipov made a speech, noting the great importance of such a large-scale activity based on scientific and practical aspects in improving the effectiveness of work in all areas. He emphasized the importance of such a large-scale activity based on scientific and practical aspects to increase the efficiency of work in all directions, as well as the development of the Aral Sea region and ensuring ecological stability in this region.
Then all-republican marathon “Yashil Kelajak” started. Participants created “Ziyolilar Bogi” on the territory of 8 hectares in the city of Nukus by planting tree seedlings suitable for local climatic conditions. Teams of universities also took part in the online marathon, and the national action “Yashil Makon” was organized in the system.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
