Many educational and cultural events are held in Navoi region to honor the name of Alisher Navoi and pass on his legacy to future generations. The Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Navoi State University held a cultural and educational evening “Remembering Alisher Navoi in Navoi City” at the Information Resource Center.
Today’s young generation is inspired by Alisher Navoi’s works and studies his ideas. Navoi’s poetry not only nourishes young people spiritually, but also forms in them feelings of love for the Motherland, humanity and high morality. Literary evenings, scientific conferences and intellectual contests held among young people are an important step towards reading, understanding and propaganda of Alisher Navoi’s works.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
