The upbringing of young people, who constitute the bulk of our country’s population, their quality education and the growth of a healthy and harmonious generation are among the main criteria of the State policy pursued by the head of State. Therefore, communicating with young people, familiarizing them with the reforms being implemented in our country today, in particular, with the idea of New Uzbekistan, is one of the most priority tasks facing every higher educational institution. The next, traditionally held meeting “Rector and Youth” was held in NavSU. At this meeting, the rector of our university, Prof. M. Kalonov, first of all, spoke about the reforms being carried out in the education system of our country and the university. He also shared with the students the experience accumulated as a result of his many years of work. During the process, which took place in the form of an open dialog, students and young people sent their proposals and initiatives that interested them.
He emphasized that in order for the future creative staff to create in the spirit of the great reforms being carried out in our country, they are given creative tasks based on the requirements of today, and as a result, students and youth demonstrate the essence of the changes taking place in our country with their works and projects created. A number of active young people were deservedly awarded at the meeting. The head of our university answered the students’ questions in detail.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
