A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Navoi State University and Navoi State Mining and Technological University. The solemn meeting was attended by rectors of both universities – Mukhiddin Kalonov and Bakhtiyer Mardonov, vice-rectors, deans and heads of departments.
This memorandum provides for further development of scientific and technical cooperation between the universities, exchange of experience and effective organization of joint educational processes. Also now, on the basis of the memorandum, joint scientific research will be conducted on the issues of industry and economy of Navoi region, technologies will be developed on the basis of innovative solutions and measures will be taken to implement them in practice. Close cooperation between scientists of both universities will undoubtedly play an important role in the comprehensive development of Navoi region and training of qualified personnel.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
