The inviolability of our country’s borders is guarded by our brave sons, the faithful children of our Motherland. Our nation, striving to make its future as great as its past, has shown special respect and honor to its loyal children, worthy of their country. Our national army is composed of physically fit, broad-minded young men and women. We can proudly say that the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan have undergone a complex process of formation in a historically short period of time and today prove themselves as a well-trained army that meets modern requirements. Today, when we look at our youth, especially our brave comrades, our hearts are filled with immense pride. In connection with the upcoming “Defender of the Fatherland Day” on January 14, festive events are being held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology. At today’s event, R. Jamolov, an honorable fighter, production master of the department of “Technological Education” was presented. Р. Jamolov spoke to the youth about the value of peace and the immense value of defending the motherland.
“To defend one’s motherland means to defend one’s parents, family, home and nation”. As you know, since 1993, January 14 has been declared “Defender of the Fatherland Day” in our country. Although this date is celebrated as a day of workers of certain professions, in practice it is a holiday of all people who consider themselves involved in the defense of the Motherland. After all, on this day not only the military, but everyone sincerely congratulates each other…” – R. Jamolov said.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
