On December 13-14 of the current year, an international Olympiad was held at Samarkand State Medical University. 700 representatives of higher educational institutions providing medical education in our country and about 20 foreign countries, including Germany, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus, South Korea, will take part in it. The event was attended by students, teachers and rectors of foreign universities.
Dean of the Medical Faculty of Navoi State University Gulom Aslanov and senior lecturer of the Department of General Medical Sciences Shukhrat Turdiev, as well as 8 talented students of the faculty also took part in the Olympiad. At the International Olympiad, which was held at a high level, the 4th year student of the department “Medical” Zoirova Shahzoda Sunnatullo took an honorable 2nd place in the specialty “Endocrinology”, and the 4th year student of the department “Pediatrics” Khamidova Dinorakhon took an honorable 2nd place in pharmacology. Dzhamolova Nazokat, a 2nd year student of the department “Pediatrics”, took an honorable 3rd place in Latin and medical terminology. Other students also took an active part and received certificates.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
