On November 16 this year, a meeting “Leader and Youth” was held at Navoi State University. November 17 – at the meeting organized in connection with the International Day of Students, Rector of Navoi State University, Professor Mukhiddin Kalonov told the youth that education and upbringing are closely related, and the role of parents and educational institutions are not comparable in this. At the same time, he advised the students to master their profession, read a lot of books, love the homeland, respect parents and teachers, and learn the language. It was also emphasized that students should effectively use the opportunities and attention given to them, work to justify the confidence expressed, strive for a specific goal, and be in constant search. The meeting also discussed the fundamental reforms in higher education and the wide opportunities created by our state for young people. It was explained by examples that students of an educational institution, which has received the status of a university, should act actively and with a great sense of responsibility.
During the “Leader and Youth” meeting, a group of students were awarded for their exemplary participation in competitions and sports events. During the meeting, which took place in the form of an open dialog, students expressed their suggestions and opinions.
