An event dedicated to the 112th anniversary of the birth of the famous poet, playwright and translator Usman Nasyr entitled “Yoril, chaqmoqqa aylan sen” was held in the activation hall of Navoi State University. This event was aimed at further strengthening the students’ knowledge of Usman Nasir’s life and works. The knowledge competition on 3 conditions (1- self-presentation, 2- quick question-answer, 3-stage performance) was based on intense debates and was duly appreciated by the jury. The opinions of the dean of the faculty and the heads of the department about the life and activities of Usman Nasir were also heard.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
