“Week of Tolerance” is held in our country on November 11-16 in the framework of implementation of the tasks defined in the State Program of the current year. In this regard, a round table on “International harmony and tolerance – values of all life” was organized with the participation of students of Karakalpak language and literature studying at the Uzbek Language and Literature Department of Navoi State University. In it, such ideas and virtues as interethnic harmony, religious tolerance, and peacefulness were explained on the basis of clear evidence. The students’ questions were sufficiently answered.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
