Navoi State University hosted the Navoi regional stage of the republican contest “Book is my friend”. Students of higher educational institutions of the region took part in it. The contest was held on the basis of regulations, according to 3 conditions. According to the final results, the 1st place – (with 39.5 points) 4th year student of NSU N. Ashurova, 2nd place – (with 35 points) 2nd year student of NDKTU S. Karshieva, 3rd place – (with 33.5 points) NIU 1 Stage student J. Ismatova won. The Rector of the University presented diplomas and memorable gifts to the award winners.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
