The issue of ecology has been relevant since ancient times. Our ancestors respected the gifts of nature and tried to protect them and keep them clean. If we compare it with ourselves, then teachings such as “Do not throw garbage in the ditch, do not throw garbage in the yard and on the street” were a constant educational practice of our parents. Unfortunately, this attitude to nature now seems to have been forgotten.
Our people have a saying: “A man does not appreciate spring water until it dries up”. Even the loss of a single species of cannabis can cause a disturbance in the balance of the green world. Preserving life, caring for the world of animals and plants, rational use of natural resources, not allowing excess water to run out of taps, not polluting water bodies, not throwing garbage anywhere, respecting the environment should strengthen the sense of belonging, starting from the family, starting from the educational institution. To this end, on the occasion of the “Month of Environmental Protection” at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Navoi State University with the participation of the head of Navoi City Kenesh of the organization of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, A. Amonov, the action “Let’s Take Care of Mother Nature!” was held. A round table was organized under this slogan. In the interview, A. Amonov emphasized that Article 50 of our Constitution states that “Citizens are obliged to treat the environment with care”, and urged the youth to use every gift of nature wisely and take care of it. After all, the future generation has the same right to this mother nature. More than 120 students participated in the roundtable. They also expressed their opinions.
