To the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of the famous Karakalpak poet and thinker Azhiniyaz Kosiboy, the Uzbek Language and Literature Department of the Faculty of Uzbek Language and Literature of the center “Spirituality and Enlightenment” of Navoi region “Literature” held a literary and artistic event called “Pearl of the Sky”. This event is the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PQ-258 of July 16, 2024 “On the wide celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of the famous Karakalpak poet and thinker Ajinez. Kosiboy.” In order to ensure the work were established literary scholars of the Republic of Karakalpakstan: Kuvanisbai Orazimbetov, Adilbek Seyitbekov, Kochkarbai Matimov participated with lectures. B.Sadriddinov, chairman of Navoi regional branch of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, expressed his opinion on the topic “The role of Ajinyoz Kosibai’s son in Uzbek literature”. Also, honored cultural worker, poet, professor Bakhtiyar Genjemuratov read samples of his poems dedicated to the figure of Ajiniyoz. The event was decorated with stage performances, folk songs and national dances highlighting the life and work of Azhiniyaz.
The guests expressed their deep gratitude to those who showed activity and dedication in the preparation of this creative evening. The active participation of the students of Karakalpak language and literature studying at the faculty was noted.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
