Language is a strong bridge connecting the past, present and future of the nation. On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language, the Navoi Information and Resource Center held a spiritual and educational event entitled “The State Language is a Symbol of Our National Spirituality”. The event was opened by N.J. Muhammedova, Associate Professor of the Department of Geography and Economic Fundamentals of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and S.R. Botirova, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Lecturer of the Department of Chemistry at the State Pedagogical Institute on the initiative of the Head of the group of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, O.I. The event was followed by an artistic part of the event prepared by the students of the Faculty.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
