In cooperation with the State Language Development Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Language Development Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Center for Teaching and Improving the Basics of the State Language at the Alisher Navoi State University of Uzbek Language and Literature in Tashkent, “The Future of Uzbekistan is in the Hands of Literate Youth” On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Law “On the State Language of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, a “Public Dictation” event was held among students of all universities under the slogan “The Future of Uzbekistan is in the Hands of Literate Youth”. Under the slogan “The future of Uzbekistan is in the hands of literate youth”, a “Public Dictation” event was held among students of all higher education institutions.
Students of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute also took an active part in the process, which took place on the basis of the Tilbilig.uz website, a modern platform aimed at widely promoting a culture of written literacy among the population, especially young people. The dictations are written on special sheets provided to the students by the territorial division of the Center for Training and Professional Development in the state language of Navoi region, and now the final results are uploaded back to the platform, and the authors get the opportunity to know their literacy level according to their profiles.
This action was of great importance in broadly promoting the culture of written literacy among young people, strengthening the sense of respect for the Uzbek language, enhancing its social status, and improving Uzbek language education.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
