Cooperation with Sejong University of South Korea will be established

 Rector of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, professor Mukhiddin Kalonov met with professor of South Korea’s Sejong University, president of the Academy of Physical Sciences Sukklun Hong within the framework of the Forum of Central Asian Universities at the New Uzbek University in Tashkent.

During the meeting it was agreed to develop scientific work with Sejong University, create joint scientific projects, hold conferences, symposiums, establish exchange of students and professors, implement joint educational programs, develop joint educational programs.

Sejong University is located in Seoul, South Korea. Founded in 1940, it was originally called Kyungsung Humanities Institute. In 1978, Sejong University was named in honor of Sejong the Great, the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty and the inventor of the Korean alphabet (Hangul). Sejong University has about 16,000 undergraduate students and thousands of graduate students: the College of Arts, the College of Social Sciences, the College of Business Administration, the College of Hotel and Tourism Management, the College of Natural Sciences, the College of Electronics and Information Engineering, the College. has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and arts, has a college of physical education, a general education department, and seven graduate schools. The university is ranked fourth on the list of South Korean universities and 18th among small and medium-sized non-medical universities in Asia.
