A memorandum will be signed with Samarkand State University

  As we previously reported, in order to further develop the cooperation of higher educational institutions, expand the scope of cooperation, strengthen integration in educational, methodological and scientific research areas, the rector of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, Professor Mukhiddin Kalonov is closely familiarizing himself with the activities of the leading higher educational institutions of our republic.

Today, the rector of the institute was at the Samarkand State University and had a meeting with the scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the rector of the university Rustam Khalmuradov. As it was noted, it was agreed to sign a memorandum on bringing the cooperation of both higher education institutions to a new level.

Today, Samarkand State University has 14 faculties, 63 departments, 34 fields of study and 40 master’s specialties. About 13,000 students study at the university. They are taught by more than 800 professors and teachers, including 3 academicians of UzFA, 81 doctors of science and 311 candidates of science. There are Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science (DSc) doctoral programs in more than 40 specialties, and 9 scientific councils conducting their defense.

Rector of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, professor Mukhiddin Kalonov, has opened the commercialization of scientific and scientific-innovative development laboratory rooms of the university, including the “Modern Analysis Methods” laboratory named after the Nobel laureate Professor Aziz Sanjar, the “Liquid and Gas Mechanics” laboratory, as well as the “SamDU Ibn He visited the “Sino Center” spin-off enterprise, the Zoological Museum and other attractions, got acquainted with activities.
