As we reported, among the faculty and staff of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute are held sports competitions “Rector’s Cup”. The official opening ceremony of “Rector’s Cup”, “Olympics 5 Initiatives” and “Student League” sports competitions was held. It was attended by the Rector of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, Prof. Mukhiddin Kalonov, the Institute’s management, faculty and students.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Rector Mukhiddin Kalonov talked about the attention paid to sports, as in all spheres, about the wide opportunities and benefits created for athletes, about the great victories achieved. The students of our institute expressed confidence in the high raising of the flag of our country in the national and world arenas, in major sports competitions and wished the participants good luck.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
