On September 12 of the current year, teachers of Uzbek language and literature and English language and literature faculties organized a trip to the memorial museum “Victims of Repression” in the structure of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute for students enrolled in the 1st year.
“It is good to work according to the mood,” they say. For this reason, it is the patriotic duty of today’s generation to remember one of the dirtiest and darkest periods of our history, the “Era of Victims of Repressions” and the countless deprivations and sufferings it brought to our people. With the help of electronic information, the museum staff provides information about various historical exhibitions, the Tsarist dictatorship, the period of the First World War, the cult of Stalin, the repressions of 1937-1938, the “Cotton Question”, and the “Uzbek Question”. The employees of Navoi Regional TV and Radio Company will provide detailed information about this long visit through the program “Altyn Aimak”, which will be aired on September 13 at 20:00. The trip not only broadened students’ spiritual outlook and knowledge of our history, but also served to strengthen their sense of gratitude for our peaceful days.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
