On September 11 , in connection with the beginning of the new academic year and the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, at the Faculty of Pre-School and Primary Education “Lessons of Independence” and “Hours of Spirituality” for the first course students were held under the motto of “If we are together- we are one nation, if we are united – we are Motherland!”
A. Muqimov, head of regional Spirituality and Enlightenment Department, faculty dean G. Shamsidinova, deputy dean for youth issues and spiritual and educational affairs K. Umarov and faculty tutors participated in these events. The officials provided the students with the necessary knowledge and recommendations about the establishment of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan and its historical significance, the high opportunities it provided and the importance of using these opportunities wisely, loving the Motherland and preserving it.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
