In order to promote effective use of atlas in modern Uzbek clothing, the national festival “Khonatlas-2024” is being held throughout our republic on September 9-14 this year. The Women’s Advisory Council of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute organized an event on the theme “KHAN ATLAS IS STAR AS THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD” within the “KHAN ATLAS” week in student dormitory No. 2.
The event was opened by the chairperson of the Women’s Advisory Council N.H. Tursunova. The event was attended by wives of teachers and active women of the regional movement “Smart Women”, as well as honorary teachers of the non-profit organization “Ustozlar”. During the event, artistic performances by our talented students, presentation of costumes in national and modern style by our design students, demonstration of painting, weaving and needlework made our national event a pleasure.
Khan Atlas is an integral part of our national culture and an example of our rich heritage of historical and aesthetic significance. Of special significance is the fact that the festival creatively demonstrates the combination of nationalism and modernity.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
