Rector of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, Professor Bahadir Sobirov met with Professor Emrah Yilmaz of Haji Bayram Vali University of Ankara, Turkey and discussed issues of cooperation between higher education institutions, particularly educational ones. Thought was given to research problems and future plans.
The foreign scholar held a 14-hour class for 1st year elementary education students of distance learning and shared his experience of international cooperation and international projects with professors and lecturers of the department.
Emra Yılmaz about the institute, “I taught general linguistics, phonetics and morphology for 2 days. I am madly happy to be in the area named after Alisher Navoi, Sultan of Poets, in Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Rector Bahadir Sobirov for taking his precious time to receive us,” he expressed his impressions.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
