On May 24-26, the national final stage of “Student League” sports competitions was held. Basketball and chess competitions of the league in volleyball, mini-football, table tennis, basketball and chess sports were held in Navoi city in order to popularize sports among youth.
The opening ceremony was held in the sports palace owned by the “NKMK Foundation”. Representatives of specialized ministries, higher educational institutions and administration of Navoi region who spoke at it wished good luck to young sportsmen who came from all regions of our republic.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
