An international cultural event dedicated to the 380th anniversary of the birth of Ayteke Biy took place at Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. Professors and students from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, as well as students from various faculties such as History, Primary Education, Natural Sciences, Uzbek Language and Literature, Russian and Kazakh Philology, and Mathematics-Informatics, participated in the event.
During the event, there were academic and practical discussions by professors on the life and creativity of Ayteke Biy, and students performed Kazakh national dances and songs. Professors and students from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University also visited the Memorial Museum of Qataghan victims at the structure of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. Each exhibit in the museum left a great impression on the guests. Deputy Rector and museum director Khurshid Qurbonov provided information about archival documents related to that period, as well as about our ancestors who suffered from Qataghan raids and exile.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
