15 May – on the occasion of the International Day of the Family together with the Faculty of History and the Museum of Repressions organized an educational event on the theme “The strength of the family is the guarantee of social peace”.
At the event the students of the faculty presented an exhibition of national crafts, dances and songs. N. Orokova, leading specialist of the State Museum of History and Culture of Navoi region, gave information about the importance of the rite of greeting the bride and putting on the lachak.
Reports were also made on such topics as “A prosperous family is the basis for the development of society” and “Legislative bases for strengthening the institution of the family”. The process was attended by the chairperson of the Women’s Expert Council of the Institute N. Tursunova, council members Z. Akhmedova, G. Sultonova, faculty teacher A. Kholova, museum guide K. Gurbanova and students.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
