On April 22, 2024, the Faculty of English Language and Literature of NDPI hosted two professors from the Central Asian Innovative University in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, with the aim of establishing and strengthening cooperation in the field of modern education with close fraternal nations. On the first day of the visit, the two teachers – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Docent Arzu Arifovna Gurbanova and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Gaziza Zhaldibaevna Nazarova were greeted with respect and warmth by teachers of the Department of English Language and Literature and Practical English Course of NDPI. During the visit, the guests met with official representatives of NDPI: Prorector for Academic Affairs G.R. Yodgorov and Prorector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations D.Kh. Narzikulov. During the meeting with the official representatives, issues of cooperation in the development of the education system of the two countries, joint implementation of scientific and practical projects, and the use of foreign experience in improving the qualifications of personnel were discussed.
Two teachers from the Central Asian Innovation University of Kazakhstan, A.A. Gurbanova and G. Nazarova, who arrived on an official visit to the Faculty of English Language and Literature, organized a scientific and practical seminar for the professors and teachers of the Departments of English Language and Literature and Practical English Course on April 23 of this year. During the seminar, both sides exchanged views on the current legislation, new reforms, current state programs and projects in the education systems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. In addition, during the seminar, the issues of exchange of teachers and students of higher education institutions and their participation in trainings, joint creation of new curricula for foreign language and literature education areas, creation of modern educational and methodological literature, and organization of foreign scientific and practical seminars were discussed , conferences and symposia in partner educational institutions.
