The third-year students and their tutor, M. Amonov, from the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, organized an event titled “Amir Temur – Noble Descendants for Our Generation” in honor of the 688th anniversary of Amir Temur’s birth. Amir Temur, the founder of a great state, attracted the attention of the whole world to the principles of justice in various regions such as Turan, Khurasan, Iran, and India, laying the foundation as a system based on justice values without diminishing its historical significance. Even today, the legacy of Sahibkiran continues to assist in the field of justice and law.
As Uzbekistan seeks independence, Amir Temur’s persona is once again recognized as a symbol of homeland and national unity. The name of Amir Temur, the emblem representing unification, consolidation, faith and wisdom, bestows upon us new strengths and blessings in forming our powerful future,” said the dean of the faculty, A.O. Norbekov.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
