Navoi State Pedagogical Institute collaborates with Marmara University of Turkey, which is in the TOP-1000 ranking. An exchange took place between the rector of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, Professor Bahodir Sobirov, and the representative of the university, Gunesh Nuraykhanova, where ideas were exchanged on scientific cooperation. During the meeting, it was emphasized that student exchange programs, enhancing teacher skills, and the establishment of Uzbek and Turkish language teaching centers would be beneficial.
Marmara University, established in 1883, has approximately 3300 academic staff members and more than 80,000 students. The university comprises 18 faculties, 13 institutes, 4 colleges, 4 vocational schools, and 3 education centers. As a result of collaboration, the students of the Faculty of Uzbek Language and Literature had the opportunity to benefit from 12 hours of interactive lessons and activities.
