The first stage Olympiad was held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology in order to identify and support young people with advanced knowledge in physics and to realize their intellectual abilities. The cognitive potential of the students was tested with the help of a 50-question test. The jury members made sure that the processes were impartial and fair. The tasks of the first stage in Physics, on which the Olympiad will be held, are made according to the scientific program, multivariate by the respective department. The corresponding type of the Olympiad was kept in a special safe until the start, ensuring the confidentiality of the options.
“The aim of the Olympiad held among the students of our faculty is to stimulate students’ academic and research activities; to develop creative abilities of the youth; to create necessary conditions to support talented students; it is to educate young people competent in all aspects, thinking independently, capable of taking responsibility for the future of our country, enterprising, ambitious and realizing their intellectual potential…” – Prof. A. Akhmedov said.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
