On March 27 of the current year students of the Faculty of History with the participation of I.Kulzhonov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, G. Sultanova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Women’s Issues, and tutors organized a talk on “Prevention of early marriage and family divorce among young people”. Various real-life examples were given and information was given on the state of the work being done to prevent girls from premature marriage and marriage between relatives. Specialists believe that the age of marriage of young boys and girls is one of the main factors affecting the strength of the family.
Unfortunately, some parents are often tempted to pass on a daughter who has not yet reached puberty without thinking about the happiness of their child’s future destiny, or to marry their son so that the daughter of a relative does not become a stranger. As a consequence, it is not uncommon to marry off daughters at the age of 16 or younger. But in most cases it negatively affects the health and psyche of the future mother, as well as the health of the future child.
