A competition among female students called “princesses of elegance” was held in the activists’ hall of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. The contest was organized in honor of March 8-International Women’s Day and the 109th anniversary of the birth of poetess Zulfiyakhanim. The event was attended by faculty, staff, lecturers, students and media representatives. With 1 student from each department contesting 3 conditions.
Condition 1-Introduction. Students tell about themselves in poem or prose form.
Condition 2-Saying Alla. Students sing a rendition of alla in various forms.
Condition 3-Cooking a “fruit carving”. In it, 11 participants competed in 3 conditions. According to the final conclusions of the jury, 1st place was taken by Hulkar Jurakulova, a student of Uzbek language and literature faculty; 2nd place was taken by Irodabegim Abdukirova, a student of mathematics and computer science faculty, and Faragiz Nasriddinova, a student of medical faculty; 3rd place was taken by Rayhon Isakulova, a student of English language and literature faculty, and Shahzoda Keldiyarova, a student of history faculty.
The participants were awarded diplomas, letters of thanks and memorable gifts from the rector of the institute.
