A festive event was held in Navoi city at the Center for Culture and Education under the Central Military District on the occasion of the October 21 celebration of the Uzbek language day under the motto “Let your native language be high”.
Deputy Dean of the Uzbek Language and Literature Faculty of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute K.Bazarov, Doctor of Philology J.Yuldashev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education N.Umarov and tutors and students of the faculty also took part in the event.
The event provided information on the history of the Uzbek language, stages of its development, reforms carried out after receiving the status of the state language, respectful attitude of young people towards the Uzbek language.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
