On May 27, 2013, at the initiative of the Department of Social Sciences of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, an international conference on “Islamic-cultural and philosophical heritage in the context of modern methodology” was held. In this scientific-practical conference attended more than 30 scientists from dozens of universities of the country, as well as from different regions of the world.
A group of professors and teachers of the Kazakh State University named after Mukhtor Avezov: Sapanov Meyrkhan, associate professors of the department Yesimova Anorkul, Ibraeva Nurilya took part in this conference offline. Shodmon Vahidov, Vice-Rector of the Tajik Pedagogical Institute in Panjikent, Tajikistan, also gave an offline presentation on “The stratification of the Muslim elite and their socio-political privileges.”
